If there is a poorly kept secret in the tech industry, it is definitely the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: the first information about the South Korean manufacturer's device began to leak last summer, but the company finally announced it only on January 4, 2022, this year's CES gadget expo presented his latest mobile within its framework. Of course, there are no big surprises after the bits of information that have been trickling in for several months, we get a phone like its predecessor Galaxy S20 FE: a slightly cheaper version of last year's top model, the Galaxy S21 - which turned out to be a particularly decent device.

The device, which is only 7.9 mm thick and weighs 177 grams, has kept the shape of the S21 models, so the camera island protruding on the back "blends" with the edges of the casing. As in the case of the Galaxy S21 and S21+ phones, the back panel here is also made of high-quality plastic (so you don't have to worry about the back glass breaking into spider webs), which this time will be available in olive, lavender, white and graphite colors, and also in a matte finish, so because of fingerprints you won't have to worry. The water and dust resistance on the S21 Samsung mobile, according to the IP68 standard is important for many so remains onboard.
The display is 6.4 inches with an AMOLED 2X panel, FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, maximum 1200 nit brightness, and, of course, HDR10+ support. The built-in fingerprint reader has not been left out of the screen, and fortunately, you don't have to worry about the hardware hidden under it, although there are some changes here compared to other S21 devices - which many will probably be happy about.
The problem is that Samsung charges a premium on its flagship phones and it's not just the issue on S21 but Samsung all mobile price in Pakistan. The processor is the octa-core Snapdragon 888 5G, with 8 GB of RAM, which can be supplemented by 128 or 256 GB of storage depending on the choice. It is not possible to expand the latter, and if we are talking about the shortcomings, it is worth noting that the metal frame of the device, as usual, also lacks the jack connector.
Fortunately, there are no complaints about the performance, thanks to the above components, the Galaxy S21 FE is suitable not only for everyday tasks but also for games. All this is complemented by the possibility of a 5G connection, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2, and a 4500 milliampere-hour battery was added to the device as a battery. The latter is capable of 25-watt fast charging (although compared to its competitors, this seems quite fun), 15-watt wireless charging, and 4.5-watt reverse charging - so even headphones or other mobile phones can be charged by placing them on the back of the device.
The biggest changes in the field of cameras can be seen compared to the plain Galaxy S21: while there was a 10-megapixel selfie unit on the front, the S21 FE already boasts a 32-megapixel module. On the back, there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. This is a more modest build than in the case of the plain S21 (it had 64/12/12), but somewhere Samsung had to pull the reins to have a friendlier price tag. And even so, we are better off than the macro lens and depth sensor found on many Chinese phones, which are mostly pointless or remain unused.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available since January 11 just after a discount on the Samsung Galaxy A32 price in Pakistan. The S21FE comes in two variants: the 128 GB version and the 256 GB edition. Compared to the plain S21, the manufacturer has managed to lower the prices, in return, only a few compromises have to be made in the camera department, but in all other respects, we get a top-performing phone, which - like its predecessors - will probably satisfy the needs of most users for years.
